My opinion... #SorryNotSorry

Hello guys, and welcome to this new blog in this evasive day. Today, I answer the follow questions:

What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called ‘mechoneo’?

I think the “mechoneo” is a stupid and barbaric university tradition, because it humiliates the university students, it generates fear and terror, it gives you a bad impression of university, and, sincerely, it’s an old tradition that has stayed obsolete by our time, and it has been replaced by party like “carrete”, chats, and friendly welcome. And it’s so boring.

What is your opinion about “barras bravas” (hooligans)?

In my opinion, hooligans in general are very negative for sports, especially football, because, considering the last times, it shows a bad side of the sports fans, it generates insecurity in the stadiums. A few people think they are part of the club, but I don’t think so, because if they were, they would not destroy the stadiums and threaten both leaders and players.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?

I think that the legalization of drugs could regularize the obtaining of them, but that does not prevent the problems of a black market, because, maybe, the amount allowed for consumption compared to the amount of consumption of a person could differ substantially, causing consumers to go to unregulated media. In addition, prices could be more expensive than consumer expectations.

What is your opinion about recycling?

I think the recycling, in its individual version, it’s useless and ineffective, because, a individual action is not able to affect a worldwide problem. It is more advisable to restrict extractive activity of mining companies, the polluting production of meat producers, because, they are the biggest environmental pollutants, and, thus, the effect would be reduced more effectively. Change the world.

The postgraduate course

Hello, everyone, and welcome to new blog.  This time, we have to talk about a postgraduate course that we would like taking.

In my case, I have considered getting to a PhD in anything, because, when I was a child, I wanted to be a doctor, but not a medical sense.  Furthermore, taking into account the price of the postgraduate studies in Chile and my social-economic condition, for now, it’s not possible.

My interesting areas, related with my major, are Public Policies’ Master, in Beauchef and Political Science’s Master, in Instituto de Asuntos Públicos, in Universidad de Chile. I have interested in the policy area, because I want to improve me in this topic, for my professional life and my essential desire of learning; and the other area, the politic, it’s a desire when  I was a young one.

The first studies, I prefer studying in Chile, because, it’s more close, and the university’s grant can help me to make them. For the PhD, I think I would like taking abroad, because, I haven’t found a PhD related with my area. I would like studying in a Europe country, like France, Belgium, Netherlands; or a Asian country, like Japan, and South Korea.

If I have a choice, and the money, I would prefer to take a full-time course, but I think it is so complicated, so I think e-learning is better option.
